New Delhi: In a significant bureaucratic train, Appointments Committee of the Cupboard (ACC) on Saturday empanelled 41 IAS officers for appointment as secretaries or on equivalent-level posts, and one other 28 IAS officers for added secretary or equivalent-level positions.Based on the checklist, 21 IAS officers from the 1990, 1991, 1993 and 1995 batches have been empanelled as secretaries, whereas one other 20 officers have been positioned within the secretary-equivalent class.The checklist of empanelled secretaries consists of Nagaland cadre IAS officer and CEO of AI Mission Abhishek Singh; Gujarat cadre officer D Thara, who has been overseeing the Central Vista revamp undertaking and concrete missions; and Uttar Pradesh cadre officer Santosh Yadav, at the moment serving as chairman of Nationwide Highways Authority of India (NHAI).Others on the checklist embody Himachal Pradesh cadre IAS officer Bharat Khera, Rajasthan cadre officer Rajeev Singh Thakur, Telangana cadre IAS officer Sanjay Kumar, Odisha cadre officer Sushil Kumar Lohani and Tripura cadre IAS officer Ashutosh Jindal.Officers mentioned the empanelment of over three dozen secretaries will give govt many choices within the subsequent spherical of top-level reshuffle in paperwork.
