Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday provided his condolences after the demise of legendary singer Asha Bhosle.
Taking to X, the prime minister wrote – “Deeply saddened by the passing of Asha Bhosle Ji, one of the vital iconic and versatile voices India has ever identified. Her extraordinary musical journey, spanning many years, enriched our cultural heritage and touched numerous hearts internationally. Be it her soulful melodies or vibrant compositions, her voice carried timeless brilliance. I’ll at all times cherish the interactions I’ve had together with her.”
“My condolences to her household, admirers and music lovers. She’s going to proceed to encourage generations and her songs will perpetually echo in individuals’s lives,” he added additional.
