In a letter dated April 2, 2026, addressed to all Principal Chief Industrial Managers (PCCMs) of zonal railways, the Railway Board (RB) said that PwDs having legitimate UDID playing cards issued by the Division of Empowerment of Individuals with Disabilities (DEPwD), in addition to these eligible for concessional fares underneath Indian Railways, will probably be handled as bona fide passengers.
