Senior Congress chief Okay C Venugopal on Tuesday wrote to Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla demanding that privilege proceedings be initiated towards Defence Minister Rajnath Singh for “deceptive” Parliament by claiming that no Indian soldier was martyred submit the Pahalgam terror assault final 12 months.

Posting a duplicate of the letter on X, Venugopal claimed that in the course of the debate on Operation Sindoor in Lok Sabha, Singh “lied” to the folks of India. “It was a simple, clear-cut deceive mislead the Home.
