“A complete of 1679 unlawful immigrants have been repatriated (deported/despatched again/expelled) from Assam to Bangladesh within the final two years,” Sarma stated in reply to a query by All India United Democratic Entrance (AIUDF) MLA Badruddin Ajmal.
