Cockroach Janata Get together founder Abhijeet Dipke on Tuesday thanked Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray for extending his help to the CJP and activist Sonam Wangchuk within the ongoing protest over alleged irregularities in NEET examination.

Dipke thanked Thackeray for his “compassion” and for supporting the CJP in the course of the “tough time”.

The CJP’s protest at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi over alleged examination irregularities has been underway for 25 days now. Educator and local weather activist Wangchuk (59) joined the protest on June 28 and commenced an indefinite starvation strike on the website in help of the CJP stir.

The CJP has been demanding Union Training Minister Dharmendra Pradhan’s resignation and 1 crore compensation for the households of scholars who died by suicide for the reason that NEET paper leak in Might. The medical entrance examination was re-conducted final month.

In a submit on X, Dipke mentioned that Thackeray has appealed to the protesting activist to finish his starvation strike saying his well-being was essential.
