Indian Navy Joins Search Close to Galle

(REUTERS) The Indian Navy acquired a misery name from Iranian warship IRIS Dena on Wednesday and launched search efforts on receipt of knowledge, because the Iranian frigate sank within the Indian Ocean on its method house after being hit by a torpedo from a US submarine.
In an announcement, the Indian Navy mentioned, “A misery name from IRIS Dena was acquired on the MRCC Colombo within the early hours of 04 March 26 as reported by the Sri Lankan Navy. The ship was working 20 NM West of Galle within the SAR area underneath Sri Lankan duty.”
The Indian Navy launched its SAR efforts and initiated a long-range maritime patrol round 10am on Wednesday as a way to support the search efforts led by Sri Lanka.
The Indian Navy added that INS Tarangini was deployed to assist the rescue efforts because it was working within the neighborhood and it arrived on the search space by 4pm on Wednesday.
