Govt okays hike in commissions to arthiyas in three states | India Information
NEW DELHI: The Centre on Monday permitted hike in fee charges payable to arthiyas and societies for procurement of wheat and paddy in Punjab, Haryana and Rajasthan starting this Rabi Advertising and marketing Season (RMS), which begins from this month. The hikes have been made following calls for from state govts. The meals ministry stated a committee was arrange, and based mostly on its suggestions, govt has permitted the hike. “After revision, the fee to Arthiyas for wheat in Punjab and Haryana will enhance from Rs 46 per quintal to Rs 50.7 per quintal, whereas for wheat in Rajasthan it’ll enhance from Rs 41.4 per quintal to Rs 45.6 per quintal. The fee for paddy will enhance from Rs 45.8 per quintal to Rs 50.6 per quintal,” it stated. It added that the fee for procurement of wheat will enhance from Rs 27 per quintal to Rs 29.7 per quintal, whereas for paddy, it’ll enhance from Rs 32 per quintal to Rs 35.3 per quintal.
