RITES secures LoA from RDSO for upkeep of Indian Railways’ first high-speed check monitor

Indian Railways’ first high-speed check monitor: RITES has obtained a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) from Lucknow-based Analysis Designs and Requirements Organisation (RDSO) for sustaining Indian Railways‘ first high-speed check monitor in Rajasthan. Developed at a price of Rs 967 crore, the ability is situated between Gudha and Thathana Mithri within the Nawa area of the Jodhpur Division, about 70 km from Jaipur. The mission falls below the executive jurisdiction of North Western Railway (NWR).
“RITES has obtained Letter of Acceptance from Analysis Designs and Requirements Organisation (RDSO), Lucknow for Complete upkeep contract of devoted check monitor between Gudha and Thathana Mithri stations of Jodhpur division of NWR,” it stated in a press release.
The contract is to be executed over a interval of 60 months from the date of issuance of the LoA. The contract worth stands at Rs 105.69 crore, excluding GST.

Developed by RDSO, the 64-km-long devoted check monitor is designed for complete testing of rolling inventory. The high-speed check monitor will help a most pace of 220 kmph. In a press release, Amit Sudarshan, Chief Public Relations Officer (CPRO) of North Western Railway stated: “For the comfort of rail passengers, the Railways is offering a brief halt—on an experimental foundation and till additional orders-for the Udaipur Metropolis-Asarva-Udaipur Metropolis Vande Bharat Specific service at Shamlaji Highway Station.”
