HC bins Lalu’s plea to quash land-for-jobs FIR | India Information
NEW DELHI: In a setback for RJD chief and former railway minister So Prasad, Delhi HC on Tuesday refused to quash a CBI case within the alleged land-for-railway-jobs rip-off involving him and his household.Justice Ravinder Dudeja rejected Lalu’s argument that the FIR below Part 17A of Prevention of Corruption Act was unsustainable because the laws was launched in 2018 whereas the allegations date to 2004-2009.The case pertains to the alleged switch of land parcels at low-cost charges to Lalu and his household in return for appointments within the railways he was the railway minister. tnn
