Union House Minister Amit Shah on Thursday soft-launched 4 superior digital platforms and formally unveiled mascots ‘Pragati’ and ‘Vikas’ for the upcoming Census 2027, marking India’s first absolutely digital census train.
Developed by C-DAC, the digital instruments purpose to streamline enumeration, combining satellite tv for pc imagery, cell apps, and net portals. “The mascots, a feminine enumerator ‘Pragati’ and a male enumerator ‘Vikas’, symbolise equal participation of women and men in India’s resolve to develop into a developed nation by 2047. They are going to assist disseminate census messages to various audiences in a relatable manner,” a spokesperson of the Ministry of House Affairs mentioned in an announcement.
