The Manipur authorities on Wednesday distributed portfolios among the many newly appointed council of ministers, with Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand Singh taking cost of eight departments along with retaining accountability of those who haven’t been particularly allotted.
Deputy Chief Ministers Nemcha Kipgen and Losii Dikho have been every assigned two departments, with Kipgen dealing with Rural Growth and Panchayati Raj and Tribal Affairs and Hills, whereas Dikho was given cost of Public Well being Engineering and Forests, Surroundings and Local weather Change.
