Goa seashore shack workers ‘assault’ Bengaluru vacationers with rods after argument; 2 arrested

Police Wednesday arrested two staff of a seashore shack in North Goa for allegedly assaulting a bunch of vacationers from Bengaluru with steel rods after an argument.
In keeping with the police, the incident passed off round 10 pm on Tuesday evening at Planet Goa Seaside Shack in Calangute. Police mentioned an argument allegedly broke out between the vacationers and shack staffers over sitting on a seashore mattress, which then turned violent after the shack staff attacked the vacationers.
Within the FIR, the complainant, Sayed Zakir (27), a businessman from Bengalurualleged that two shack staff — Dinesh Kumar and Dhupendra Yadav — and a few of their associates assaulted him and his six mates with seashore umbrella rods and steel rods, and precipitated them extreme accidents.
The accused, Dinesh Kumar (26) and Dhupendra Yadav, have been each arrested and brought into custody.
