In a letter dated March 20, 2026, to all Common Managers of zonal railways, the Railway Board (RB) mentioned that, following the Dearness Allowance (DA) reaching 50 per cent with impact from January 1, 2024, the revised charges will likely be efficient below the Railway Providers (Revised Pay) Guidelines, 2016 from the identical date.
