Manipur CM chairs high-level safety meet after violence | India Information

Manipur Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand Singh on Thursday chaired a high-level safety assembly to evaluation the prevailing regulation and order scenario following the Tronglaobi blast that killed two youngsters.

The assembly, held on the Cupboard Corridor of the CM’s Secretariat, was attended by State Residence Minister Govindas Konthoujam, Chief Secretary Puneet Kumar Goel, in addition to a number of senior police officers.

Official sources informed The Indian Categorical that the assembly was convened following inputs from central intelligence businesses indicating {that a} group with a “vested curiosity” is making an attempt to destabilise the federal government and disrupt the continued peace course of within the state.
