One other incident of fireside on vessel with Indian crew off the Oman coast has come to the fore. The bitumen provider, MT Jalveer, had 20 crew members aboard. 5 of them have been rescued by passing autos and brought to Oman, reported Extra information company.
Earlier on Wednesday, three Indians have been killed in a US strike on one other oil tanker MT Settebello. Earlier than that on Monday, one other ship with Indian crew members, MT Marivex, was attacked. Whereas MT Settebello was making an attempt to move oil from Iran, MT Marivex was making an attempt to dock at an Iranian port.

The Indian Embassy in Oman has mentioned that it’s carefully monitoring the state of affairs regarding MT Jalveer. It posted on X: “We’ve learnt of an incident involving a vessel off Shinas port of Oman, earlier as we speak . We’re carefully monitoring the state of affairs and coordinating with the native authorities for additional particulars.”
