CBI arrests DGCA deputy director, senior govt of personal agency in bribery case| India Information
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has arrested Mudavath Devula, Deputy Director Basic on the Airworthiness Directorate, Directorate Basic of Civil Aviation (DGCA), together with a consultant of a non-public firm in a bribery case.

Bharat Mathur, a senior vp in a serious company group, was additionally arrested for bribing the DGCA official of ₹2.5 lakh.

The CBI registered the case on April 18 in opposition to the DGCA official and Bharat Mathur and a search was carried out at premises of the accused public servant and the corporate consultant.
“Searches have been carried out by CBI at premises of the accused public servant and different non-public individuals at 04 places in Delhi leading to seizure of money price Rs. 37 Lakhs, Gold and Silver Cash and a number of digital units,” the assertion stated.
