Govt to boost export obligation on petrol, cuts levy on diesel and aviation gas from Could 16 onwards
India raised its export obligation on petrol and reduce levies on diesel and aviation gas on Friday, the Ministry of Finance mentioned in an announcement. This notification from the federal government comes inside a day of elevating retail gas costs for the primary time because the conflict between the US, Israel and Iran broke out in February.

Citing the federal government notification, information company PTI reported that the obligation on exports of petrol has been raised to ₹3 per litre, a primary because the Iran conflict began.
In the meantime, the obligation on export of diesel has been diminished to ₹16.5 per litre, from ₹23 per litre, and aviation turbine gas to ₹16 per litre from ₹33 per litre.
