A police officer allegedly shot his spouse useless in a match of rage earlier than making an attempt to kill himself in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kupwara district, officers stated on Saturday.
A probationary sub-inspector (PSI) of Jammu and Kashmir Police, Deep Singh, posted at a particular operations group (SOG) camp in Kandi space of the north Kashmir district, had a quarrel along with his spouse Bhawana late Friday, officers stated.
Throughout the altercation, Singh allegedly fired upon his spouse in a match of rage, killing her on the spot.
He then went on to shoot himself, and was critically injured, officers stated, including that he’s present process remedy at SKIMS hospital in Srinagar.
