Ladies’s quota invoice fails to get two-thirds majority in Lok Sabha| India Information

The Structure Modification Invoice to tweak Ladies’s Reservation Invoice was defeated in Lok Sabha after the federal government didn’t get a particular majority within the Parliament on Friday night.

Whereas 298 members voted in favour of the federal government backing the invoice, 230 members from the opposition voted in opposition to the proposed legislation.
