NEW DELHI: Basic NS Raja Subramani will on Sunday take cost as India’s subsequent chief of defence workers (CDS), changing Basic Anil Chauhan who retired on Saturday. Additionally, Admiral Krishna Swaminathan will take over because the navy chief from Admiral Dinesh Ok Tripathi who retires on Sunday.

Swaminathan’s tenure coincides with India finalising a multi-billion greenback deal to construct next-generation typical submarines domestically.
