Company Legal guidelines (Modification) Invoice to be launched: Each homes of the Parliament resumed as we speak after festive holidays. Query hour begins within the Lok Sabha. Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman launched the Company Legal guidelines (Modification) Invoice, 2026, that seeks to amend the Restricted Legal responsibility Partnership Act, 2008 and the Firms Act, 2013. After objections on introduction of the invoice, speaker Om Birla accepted the proposal of the invoice to be despatched to a JPC. That is the second part of the Finances Session that the Parliament is constant with after an extended weekend.

FM Sitharaman to maneuver Finance Invoice: Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman is ready to maneuver the Finance Invoice, 2026 within the Lok Sabha throughout the ongoing Finances Session. The Invoice seeks to implement the Centre’s monetary proposals for the 2026–27 monetary 12 months. She can even transfer a proposal for the Invoice to be handed within the Home.

Shashi Tharoor writes to Residence Minister Amit Shah: Congress chief Shashi Tharoor on Sunday mentioned that he has written to Residence Minister Amit Shah forward of the dialogue on the Central Armed Police Forces (Normal Administration) Invoice, 2026. He mentioned the letter focuses on issues raised by CAPF veterans on service and institutional points. Tharoor added that he has urged the federal government to provide these issues ‘due and thought of consideration’ when the Invoice is taken up in Parliament this week.
