Tremors felt in Kolkata: The place was the epicentre of earthquake?

Tremors had been felt in Kolkata and elements of West Bengal and Assam as a 5.6 magnitude rattled on Sunday night.

The quake hit at a depth of 10 km (6.21 miles) at round 11:06 pm, in response to the German Analysis Centre for Geosciences (GFZ).

The epicentre of the earthquake was positioned at Punakha in Bhutan, north of Assam.
